PTE test centres: find an official location
First, choose the country where you will take the test. Then use Pearson’s live locator to check the exact centre, test, price and available date before paying.
Use the live finder
Recognize the official centre-search journey
Select the exact PTE product before searching. Pearson’s live page—not a static third-party address list—confirms the current centre, fee and available appointment.

Centre lists and appointment calendars can change. Select the exact test first, then use Pearson’s live locator to confirm current locations, fees and seats.

How to find a PTE test centre near you
Use Pearson’s official centre and fee finder to start your search. The public country page and an available appointment are different things: a centre appearing in a country list does not mean your product has a seat on your preferred date.
- Confirm the exact test and, for Home, its booked level with the receiving authority.
- Select the country where you intend to sit the exam—not simply your destination country.
- Follow the availability link for that product and search a practical city or location.
- Compare the current centres and appointment dates shown in the booking flow.
- Before payment, check the complete appointment summary, accepted ID, price, currency and change rules.
PTE Karo does not display a live seat calendar, reserve appointments or take test payments. Our country guides explain the checks; Pearson confirms availability.
Choose the product before the location
The nearest centre is useful only if it offers the accepted test. For university study and listed Australian purposes, review PTE Academic. For Canadian Express Entry, review Core. A UK four-skills SELT requirement uses Academic UKVI; relevant two-skills requirements have Home A1, A2 or B1 options.
These products are not interchangeable. A location offering Academic does not automatically offer UKVI, Core or every Home level. For a UK SELT, check both the approved test and the approved location using GOV.UK’s current guidance. The test-choice guide helps identify which authority’s rule to check.
Compare practical travel—not “easy-centre” claims
Compare the total journey, arrival buffer, local time and realistic cost, not only the distance shown on a map. A closer location with an unsuitable appointment can be less practical than a reachable alternative on another day. No centre choice guarantees a higher score.
- Address: save the full centre name, building, floor and entrance instructions from the final confirmation.
- Timing: plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the appointment for check-in; add travel contingency separately.
- ID: confirm the current policy for your product, citizenship and testing country, and match the booking details.
- Cost: compare the checkout fee and travel or overnight costs; do not convert an overseas price as if it were a local quote.
- Changes: read the cancellation and rescheduling rules before committing.
For example, a 9 a.m. appointment requiring a long same-morning intercity journey creates a different risk from a later local slot. Check what you can reach reliably. This is a planning comparison, not a recommendation for a particular city or centre.
Accessibility and test-day equipment
If you need an accommodation, contact Pearson before booking through the standard flow. Its accommodation policy asks for the request at least six weeks before the chosen test and notes that review can take longer. Approval and arrangements must be confirmed; do not assume a local centre can add them on arrival.
At the centre, follow the administrator’s check-in and security instructions. Check the headset and microphone as instructed and report a technical problem immediately rather than waiting until you leave. Use the official test-day guide for the process. Illustrations on this website are not facility inspections or evidence of a particular centre’s equipment.
What a country or city listing can—and cannot—confirm
An old address, map result or coaching provider’s page can be a search clue, but it is not the final appointment record. Centres can move, change product availability or show no seats for a selected period. Check the live flow and your confirmation again before travelling.
Do not mistake a preparation institute advertising PTE classes for an authorised test location. Similarly, a “Pearson” name in an unofficial domain does not establish that it is Pearson’s booking service. Begin at the official finder linked above and follow its product-specific booking link.
Common centre-search questions
Does a listed centre guarantee an available seat?
No. Check the exact product and date in the live booking flow. A country listing alone does not reserve an appointment.
Must I take the test in my destination country?
Do not assume that. Check where the accepted product is offered and any receiver-specific location restrictions. A testing country and an application destination are different fields.
Can I take these tests at home?
The Academic, Core, Academic UKVI and Home products covered by these centre guides use test-centre delivery. “PTE Home” is a product name, not permission to take a remote visa test.
What if my confirmation and a map show different addresses?
Resolve the discrepancy through Pearson’s official support before travelling. Do not assume an older map entry overrides the appointment confirmation.
